Akash currently works as a data scientist for insideView, a DemandBase company. Prior to which he provided his services in a similar role at Straive(SPi Global earlier). He has completed his Integrated M.Sc. in computer science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence from Central University of Rajasthan. He is fueled by his passion for understanding the nuances of cognitive functions and machine learning. He considers himself a ‘forever student’, eager to build both on his academic foundations in computer science and to stay in tune with the latest programming tools through his continuous journey. His hunger for knowledge and determination to turn information into action has contributed to his successful endeavours. Before beginning his journey as a data scientist, he gained both industrial and academic experience during his internships. He was involved in an academic setup where he conducted supervised research for two straight months. It was at SWAN labs, IIT Kharagpur under the esteemed guidance of Prof. Sudip Misra in the summer of 2018. Next, he gained the industrial experience in the data science domain at the life sciences division of Tata Consultancy service by interning there for three months.
Akash believes mindfulness in the workplace is the key to success hence, when he is not visualizing the beauty of data in a jupyter notebook, he lives out through his interests in table tennis, reading, getting hands on his guitar on a regular basis and riding his motorbike on long empty roads.
Data Analytic role in the life sciences division. Working on disease progression modelling and building insights on top of the data obtained after performing the required ETL on the data collected from different sources to get it in OMOP common data model.
Under the guidence of Professor Sudip Misra, proposed a novel learning framework for the resource constrained IoT devices while utilizing the processing capacity of the edge of the network. Working for 14 hours a day and 7 days a week made me more productive since then.
